Prayer for the Children

Why keep this to yourself? Share it with other families and pray for children at risk.
Prayer For the Children will provide you with tools to help you accomplish a faithful prayer life for the children in our tri-county area.
First, we provide a booklet containing 52 scripture prayers, one for each week of the year. They are concise, but powerful.
Second, if you will provide us with your email address, we will send you one scripture prayer each week to remind you to pray and to help you establish the habit of prayer. Have you ever asked yourself, "What can I do to help inner cities?" The answer is prayer: pray for their children.
Prayer Impact
WHY DO WE NEED PRAYER? Satan has called a mighty war upon our children…especially the children in the inner cities. Many have perished and their parents grieve terribly, realizing that their chance to hold them once again is gone. Many are sick, and need a healing touch. Many have become victims of poverty, peers, neighborhood influence and drugs. Any failure to protect and lead them along the straight and narrow has not come from the Lord. In spite of our failures, we can pray, asking the Lord to intervene on their behalf, sending laborers to help disciple them so they can become mighty men and women of God. Prayer is an important step in getting them to grow in the Lord. God the Father saw to it that “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man.” Therefore, we desire the children to grow as Jesus did: in wisdom (soul) stature (body) and favor with God and man (spirit.) Prayer helps us get them there.
Prayer Impact is a prayer meeting focused on the children of Detroit, their families, schools and neighborhoods. Those who meet together spend time in adoration, scripture and prayer, praying to the Father on behalf of these children. There is space for scripture prayer, prayer from the heart and group intercession. Please join us so His kingdom will come and His will would be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Our desire is to aim these children to Heaven and to request Heaven’s blessings for them to earth.
When and Where? We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9:00AM-10:00AM. We also pray for the current needs, our sponsors, our recipients and all the lives touched by GFAGC. All prayer warriors are welcome! Meeting location at Faith Lutheran Church, 37635 Dequindre, Troy, MI - Room 2
