Big Family of Michigan is an organization helping to make life better for children waiting to be adopted. They work with adoption organizations, foster parents, social workers and the children to try to help make sure all are working in harmony and the children are receiving the love, care, and items they need and require to become successful adults.

For over 100 years The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) has helped the homeless, hungry, abused and addicted. They are committed to "Rebuilding the inner city one life at a time." DRMM is rated the 13th largest treatment center in the nation by US News & World Report.  Each day they serve over 1,400 men, women and children. Annually they provide over 1,000,000 meals to the homeless and hungry.

Good News Gang Metro is a faith-based, non-profit ministry dedicated to serving inner city children throughout the southwest Detroit and Hamtramck area. The organization was established in 1989, and has been serving at-risk, low-income, inner city children and their families for over twenty-six years. Every Saturday, children 4 yrs to 12 yrs old participate in an action packed, fun filled program including games, scripture memorization, bible lessons and prizes. A strong emphasis is made on staying off drugs, out of gangs, and in school. Most of all, they are taught that Jesus loves them.

Motown United Ministries is a collaboration of volunteers who produce and sell soup, cornbread and dessert mixes. Since its start in 2003, Motown Soup has given back $291,000 directly to Detroit Metro homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries and other nonprofits.

Established in 1993, the Power Company Kids Club is a faith-based nonprofit ministry dedicated to promoting the emotional, physical, spiritual and social well-being of the at-risk children and teens of the inner city through weekly Bible teaching, mentoring and cooperating with parents, churches, community organizations, schools and civic leaders.
